Meal Plan FAQ

  • Can I change my meal plan option once the semester has begun?
    Yes! You may change your meal plan during the first two weeks of the semester, you may upgrade only. Refunds will not be granted. Please verify your student account regarding your meal plan changes.
  • Can I purchase more commuter plans once my current meals run out?
    Yes! Once you have exhausted your commuter meals, you may purchase an additional commuter meal plan
  • If I don't use all of my meals in a given week, do they carry over to the following week?"
    No. Meals do not carry over from week to week. Therefore, it is important to select the best dining plan based on your academic schedule, eating habits and social life.
  • Can I receive a refund for any meals remaining on the plan at the end of the semester?
    No. Refunds are not issued for meals left on the meal plan.
  • What if I lose my card?
    Report it immediately to the Office of the Bursar by emailing bursar@wolf.cheyney.edu or calling 610-399-2224.
  • What if I am requesting a dietary exception?
    To inquire about the procedure, please call the Office of Residence Life and Housing at 610-399-2428 or email housing@wolf.cheyney.edu.
  • What are the casual meal rates?
    Students, Faculty and Staff Breakfast $5.70 plus tax Lunch $6.90 plus tax Dinner $8.10 plus tax Non Students Breakfast $6.90 plus tax Lunch $8.10 plus tax Dinner $9.30 plus tax
  • Can I treat a guest by using two "meals" in one meal period?"
    Your meal plan is non-transferable and does not allow you to "treat" a guest. Your guest will have to pay the daily rate posted at the entrance of the Dining Hall.
  • For Parents
    When you purchase one of our Meal Plans for your son or daughter, you are participating in a program that is designed to provide students with a wide range of options. Our Dining Hall opens at 7:00 am and closes as late as 7:00 pm. Our Marcus Foster Snack Bar operates between 11:00 am and 9:00 pm. Of course it’s not just about the food, our programs are constantly changing to address the issues of nutrition and health as well as create an atmosphere that makes Dining Services a relaxing break in the day from the pressures of student life. Diners enjoy theme meals and special events to make dining a social event with friends.
